STRATEGY TOOLS ALIGN COMPANY FOR SALE

Situation

    A rapidly growing middle market printing/bulk mailing
    company was working on a strategic plan, a portion of
    which addressed the acquisition of the company.

Problem

    The company wanted to check alignment of key personnel
    with the company strategic plan quickly and easily.

Solution

    Using an proprietary on-line analytical tool, the senior
    management team, along with other key personnel, were
    polled on alignment with and understanding of the
    company strategy. Results were reported to the team in a
    half-day meeting using tabulated graphs, which showed
    problem areas and suggested action items. Based upon
    the discussions and subsequent meetings over six weeks,
    an action plan was prepared for immediate rollout.

Benefit

    The company was successfully acquired, on schedule.
