PROFESSIONAL AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS
Jack was president of the Association of Professional Consultants, a
professional organization with a Code of Ethics.
Jack is a member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Workforce
Investment Board. He was chair of the OCWIBs Economic and Workforce
Intelligence Committee. The EWIC committee updates the industrial cluster
information for Orange County, California, and plans for growth, especially in
high tech, high growth companies. The Workforce Investment Board manages
the flow of Department of Labor investments into Orange County workforce
development.
Jack was Chair of the Orange County's Comprehensive Economic
Development Strategy (CEDS) process. The CEDS Committee participates in
the management of the flow of Department of Commerce Economic
Development Administration investments into Orange County. Jack also
chaired the Orange County Overall Economic Development Planning
committee.
Jack directed the TriTech SBDC. During his tenure TriTech garnered more
than $37 million of economic impact for the tech community in Southern
California.
Jack was president of the Job Development Council, Inc., which focuses on
economic development in Orange County.
Jack was Secretary and Treasurer of the Orange County Chapter of the
Association for Strategic Planning.
TEACHING AND FACILITATING
Over fifteen years with University of California Irvine Extension, Jack taught
hundreds of CEOs and Managers how to create a strategic plan, and, most
importantly, how to implement it with their teams.
Jack lectured on strategy at California State University Fullerton, University
California Irvine, Concordia University, Rancho Sanitago Community
College, and taught strategy for five years in the MBA program at the
University of Phoenix.

FORTUNE 500 TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE
For more than a decade Jack was involved in radiopharmaceutical
manufacturing quality control, first at a nuclear reactor in Princeton, New
Jersey, and, then, later in New Brunswick, New Jersey and La Mirada,
California. He managed the Quality Control Department at Cambridge Nuclear
Radiopharmaceutical Corporation in Plainsboro, New Jersey, and the Quality
Control and Health Physics Department at E. R. Squibb and Sons,
Incorporated's radiopharmaceutical manufacturing facilities in La Mirada,
California.
Jack is editor of MIXNER STRATEGY newsletter and hosts the MIXNER
STRATEGY Blog.
Jack received Certificates in Auditing Good Manufacturing Practice from the
Stat-a-Matrix Institute and in Biotechnology from The Center for Professional
Advancement.
Jack earned the National Association of Securities Dealers Series 7 and 63
securities licenses (now in-active). He earned the California Pharmaceutical
Manufacturer's Exemption Certificate from the California Food and Drug
Administration (now in-active).
Jack's BS is from Auburn University. His MBA is from Pepperdine
University.
